About Katie Butler: 

Katie has served as the Commercial & Strategic Accounts Director for the Industrial & Energy Technology (IET) business segment at Baker Hughes since August 2023, taking an expanded role after serving as Sales Operations & Governance Director and acting Vice President of Sales & Commercial.

Katie previously served as Vice President of Marketing & Commercial for the Digital Solutions business segment at Baker Hughes from 2019 to 2022, driving increased commercial intensity to enable business growth and improve how we operate to better serve our customers.

Prior to that, Katie served as the General Manager for the Visual Inspection business at Baker Hughes, leading the overall strategic vision and long-term portfolio roadmap to grow within existing and adjacent market segments. Katie has also held global leadership positions within General Electric’s Energy and Oil & Gas divisions across sales & commercial, marketing, and P&L management. She is recognized for leading the business to deliver results while creating a work environment that fosters trust and respect.

Katie is a graduate of GE’s Commercial Leadership Program (CLP) and is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. In her free time, Katie serves as the Executive Sponsor for a local Baker Hughes Women’s Network Employee Resource Group as well as a member of the G100 Women’s Network professional affiliation.
