Crystal Andrea Evans
Crystal Andrea Evans, affectionately known as Coach Crystal, is a nationally certified personal trainer, fitness professional, entrepreneur, competitive Figure athlete, wife, mother, and the founder of Bold By Crystal.
A former collegiate track and field athlete at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Crystal earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees while building the discipline and competitive mindset that would continue to shape her life long after leaving the track.
With more than 20 years in the fitness and wellness space, Crystal has turned her passion for health into a career centered around helping others become stronger—not only physically, but mentally and personally.
Her own athletic journey eventually led her to the bodybuilding stage, where she became a Nationally Qualified NPC Figure competitor and an Overall Figure Winner. But for Crystal, fitness has never been only about what someone looks like. It is about discovering what you are capable of, keeping promises to yourself, and having the courage to keep going through every season of life.
That philosophy became the foundation of Bold By Crystal, her fitness, wellness, and lifestyle brand created to encourage women to live boldly, build confidence, prioritize their health, and create sustainable habits without believing they have to be perfect.
As Coach Crystal, she brings together education, real-world experience, accountability, compassion, and the mindset of an athlete. She believes coaching is about meeting people where they are, helping them navigate real life, and reminding them that one difficult day does not erase their progress.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, some of Crystal’s most meaningful roles are simply being a wife and mom. Her life has taught her that strength takes many forms—and sometimes the strongest thing a woman can do is evolve.
Crystal isn’t interested in becoming the woman she used to be.
She’s continuing to build the woman she’s becoming.
