Meet Josette Mandela, Financial Empowerment Advocate

Q: What does Empowering Women mean to you?

Josette: Empowering women means helping them recognize their value, trust their abilities, and take control of their future. For me, empowerment starts with confidence and the belief that women are capable of creating the lives they want. Through financial education and personal growth, I help women develop the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions, overcome challenges, and achieve greater independence and security.

Q: How did you get started working in your field?

Josette: My work is rooted in my own journey. After experiencing post-divorce bankruptcy, I was forced to rebuild my financial life from the ground up. Through that experience, I learned the importance of financial literacy, resilience, and personal responsibility. As I rebuilt my financial security, I became passionate about helping other women avoid the same struggles and gain the confidence to take control of their finances and their futures.

Q: What do you love most about your job? / What are you most proud of?

Josette: What I love most is seeing women move from feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about money to feeling confident and empowered. Financial topics can be intimidating, and I enjoy making them simple, practical, and accessible. I am most proud of using my personal experiences to help other women realize that setbacks do not define them and that it is possible to create a life of financial security and abundance.

Q: What advice would you give to someone considering this line of work?

Josette: Be committed to serving others and helping them create meaningful change in their lives. Financial education is about more than numbers—it is about confidence, mindset, and creating opportunities. Listen to people's challenges, communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand, and never underestimate the impact that encouragement and practical guidance can have on someone's future.

Q: Anything else you would like to add?

Josette: As an Amazon best-selling author and financial empowerment advocate, my mission is to help women gain confidence with money, build resilience, and embrace the abundant lives they deserve. I believe financial independence is one of the most powerful tools available to women, and I am passionate about making financial education engaging, approachable, and actionable.
