Updated: Jan 4

The third Empowering Women in Industry Conference and Awards Gala took place on

October 21, 2021. The event was held both in person in Chicago, IL and virtually. The

Empowering Women Conference brought in male and female attendees from across the

United States. The virtual event had over 100 people in attendance, 30 topics discussed, and over 80,000 in-app impressions.

This year our focus was to #BeYourself.“We want to embrace our diverse backgrounds and

empower every woman to always be yourself” said Founder and CEO, Charli K. Matthews.

We spent the day together learning from some of the best women in the industry about topics covering Authoring Your Own Narrative, Understanding & Re-Balancing Mental Load, 3C’s to Command Any Room with Confidence, and more.

The evening was spent celebrating the Empowering Women Award Winners and featured our first-ever Industry Fashion Show, where women from all walks of life rocked their best work attire on the runway.

Among many nominees from across the globe, our award winners this year were; Kaylin Leas

(Tradeswoman of the Year), Stacy Cassio (Mentor of the Year), Jennifer Lynn Robinson (Marketer of the Year), Caeley Looney (Leadership in STEM/STEAM), Melissa Gaglionere (Innovator of the Year), Jessica Norkis (Engineer of the Year), Hilary Johnson (Emerging Leader of the Year), Janet Bates (Industry Advocacy), Regina Higgins (Saleswoman of the Year), Allison Grealis (Leadership in Manufacturing), Amy Crosby (Leadership in Reliability & Operations), Kristel Zaman (Leadership in Diversity & Inclusion), Emily Soloby (Empowering Woman of the Year)
