Q: What does Empowering Women mean to you?

Yamini: Empowering women means creating equal opportunities and supporting them to reach their full potential. To me, it’s about building confidence, removing barriers, and fostering a culture where women’s voices are heard, respected, and celebrated

Q: How did you get started working in your field?

Yamini: I completed my Master’s in Data Science and had the opportunity to work as a Backend Developer. I am now looking to transition into Product Management by leveraging my transferable skills.

Q: What do you love most about your job? / What are you most proud of?

Yamini: I’m proud that I had the opportunity to start working just a few days after my graduation. I love collaborating with my team and contributing to my company in the unique wine & spirits industry, where I get to tackle user and stakeholder challenges

Q: What advice would you give to someone considering this line of work?

Yamini: Start early, work on side projects, build your resume and portfolio, grow your network, and find your niche
