Q: What does Empowering Women mean to you?
Yolonda: Empowering women means unlocking potential, fostering confidence, and celebrating individuality. It's about creating a supportive community where women can thrive, grow, and reach their full potential. For me, it's a passion that drives everything I do. #EmpoweringWomen #WomenEmpowerment #ConfidenceIsKey
Q: How did you get started working in your field?
Yolonda: My journey into empowering women began with a profound transformation in my own life. After facing significant challenges, I discovered my purpose and began sharing my story through writing. My books chronicle my path from adversity to healing, growth, and purpose. As a life coach, I'm dedicated to helping women find their dignity, worth, and inner strength. My mission is to empower women to overcome obstacles and thrive.
Q: What do you love most about your job? / What are you most proud of?
Yolonda: I'm most proud of my career as a life coach, where I've found the freedom to be my own boss. I derive immense fulfillment from writing books that inspire and empower women, and from coaching them to transform their lives. Seeing women discover their worth, build confidence, and achieve their goals is truly rewarding. This work aligns with my passion for empowering women and helping them reach their full potential.
Q: What advice would you give to someone considering this line of work?
Yolonda: Follow your passion and purpose, and financial success will follow. When you're working in your calling, you'll experience a sense of fulfillment and joy that goes beyond monetary rewards. Stay true to yourself and your values, and you'll find that your work becomes a source of inspiration and motivation for others.
Q: Anything else you would like to add?
Yolonda: From humble beginnings, I overcame incredible adversity. Raised by my great-grandmother, who had only a first-grade education, I faced numerous challenges, including abandonment and sexual assault. Despite these obstacles, I persevered and went on to become a proud mother of four amazing children. Today, I'm a published author, life coach, motivational speaker, and preacher, dedicated to making a positive impact in my community and beyond. My journey is a testament to the human spirit's capacity for resilience and determination.
