As we take a look back on 2021, we are filled with nothing but excitement for the future and gratitude for the year that we had. Our community that we have built with Empowering Women in Industry truly is one of a kind. It is hard to sum up a year, but we tried our best. Here are a few of our favorite moments from the year with all of you!
We launched 15 Empowering Women in Industry Podcast Episodes. The podcast allowed us to sit down with some influential women in the Industry and learn from them. We met with people like Stacy Cassio, Founder and CEO of the Pink Mentor Network and Michelle Taylor, New Product Quality Director for Trane Technologies. Our episodes covered everything from thought diversity to raising powerful women and being a mentor.
We hit the road to Chicago for our model call where we met with Women in Industry. These women helped us create a day of storytelling, photography, videography, and fun. We had manufacturers of women’s workwear, Juno Jones, Safety4Her, and Covergals provide work-clothing to be showcased in this photoshoot. It really felt like a mini-conference as we truly bonded with these women while improving our skills.
We were back in Chicago in October for the Empowering Women in Industry Conference and Awards Gala. The event took place on October 21st and was held both in person and virtually. The Empowering Women Conference brought in male and female attendees from across the United States. We spent the day together learning from some of the best women in the Industry. The evening was spent celebrating the Empowering Women Award Winners and featured our first-ever Industry Fashion Show, where women from all walks of life rocked their best work attire on the runway.
