What does Empowering Women in Industry mean to you?
It means helping other women step into their potential & achieve success on their terms.
How did you get started in your field?
I spent 18 years in Corporate America building, growing and turning around 8 and 9-figure businesses. Despite my success, I constantly found myself feeling unsettled, chasing the next job or promotion to "make it better" so I could finally do fulfilling work and be able to have the time I wanted to have a less stressful and more present family life. After two cross country moves and increasing frustration that every job seemed to be more of the same, I finally realized that the career I was in no longer fit. My personal journey through three career changes, years of seeking the right path for my life, overcoming the fear and doubt of forging a new path, and successfully building and running my own multi six figure business is the basis of the work I do everyday. Today, my team and I help other heart centered, driven professional women, who are at a career crossroads, figure out how to use their skills and passions to transition into more fulfilling careers without having to worry about taking a pay cut or starting over.
What do you love most about your job? What are you most proud of?
I love connecting with other amazing women & helping them create success on their terms. One of my favorite things is seeing a woman transition into her dream career getting EVERYTHING she wants when just a few months prior, she was considering a pay cut, going back to school, etc.
What advice would you give to someone considering this line of work?
It's one of the most rewarding things in my life, but please don't treat every woman (person) the same. I see so many cookie-cutter coaching programs and they rarely, if ever, achieve the results that are possible when you help someone take a holistic look at who they are.
